Now, back to this campaign. If you’re judging campaign success, I think:

  • A good campaign is 100 backer

  • A great campaign overall is 200-300 backers

  • An amazing is 500+ backers

  • An elite campaign is 1,000+backers

I’ve only gotten to 1,000+ backers once. I’ve gotten over 500 backers eleven times out of 42 campaigns, so about 25% of the time. Most of my novels campaigns are somewhere between 200-300 backers. I’m generally pretty happy if I can get 250 people to read one of my novels.

What’s wild is that three of my top six most backed campaigns ended this year (Direct Sales Mastery for Authors with Monica in January, Death’s Kiss with Melissa and Laurie in March, and…
