There is an interesting phenomenon that happens right before you break through to the next level of success.

Your body and your mind start to fight you. They actively try to stop you from moving forward.

They claw, scratch, and play dirty. They will do anything short of killing you to stop your success dead in its tracks.

Why is that?

Because your body does not like change. It does not like the unknown. It does not want to leave its comfort zone. We have evolved and survived by staying inside our comfort zone.

Evolutionarily, change is always bad.

For myself, my depression kicks into high gear when I'm just about to break through.

Every time I'm close to finishing a project, my mind tries everything in its power to get me to slow down. It sends me horrible thoughts, and terrible dreams, to get me to turn back. It turns my stomach and makes my head ache.

The bigger the project, the more my body and mind fight me.
