Writer MBA 2024 virtual summit debrief

Wherein I spill all the tea about our latest virtual summit event.

Hi,

From May 22-24, 2024, Writer MBA held our first virtual conference. I have run multiple virtual conferences before, but we’ve never done one for Writer MBA. The biggest difference for this event was that we recorded all the presentations beforehand and then unlocked them the day of the event. Previously, I run them all through Streamyard, instead of through Teachable.

I think you miss a lot of visceral interaction by not having a live element, but as a chronically ill human, I don’t know if I can do a live event in the way I used to do them, either.
