A lot of people ask about building their publishing business. I just stumbled across our first budget, which might help visualize what a first year small publisher should expect to pay.

It’s been 10 years since Wannabe Press started, and I just unearthed our first budget. If you’d like to see what our first year budget was, here you go. This doesn’t include two projects which we had finished before starting the company. Now, our budget is about $120k a year to give you some context.
