Here is a list of companies I have started in my life, and how much they earned before they folded.

  • (Insert Name Here Productions) - 2004-2006 - $0

  • RPN Photography - 2004-2008 - $1000

  • BNS Media Group - 2007-2013 - $0

  • 3Line Communications - 2015 - $12,000

  • Wavelength, LLC - 2015-2018 - $75,000

That's not per year. That's total revenue. I was negative if you included expenses for all of those companies except the last two.

From 2004-2015, I started 3 companies and made less than $1,000 combined on them. Even if you included 3Line in there, which only lasted for 6 months, that's only $13,000 total or a little over $1,000 a year for 11 years between 2004 and 2015.

Only Wannabe Press is still standing out of every company I ever started, though I folded Wavelength into Wannabe Press, so maybe they are both still going. I don't see it that way.

It wasn't until 2017 that I figured any of this out in a measurable way. In 2017 and 2018, I made $125,000+ in each year. Which means I made more in each year…
