We are all stuck on this Earth, in these bodies together, whether we like it or not, and taking everything you want without thinking about the consequences ruins it for everyone.

I have stayed silent about this election, mainly because I’m frankly pretty sick and can’t deal with having arguments with people anymore. I also have my cashflow tapped out so I haven’t been able to give as much as I have in the past.
I also understand that I run an apolitical author growth publication, so I’ve been pretty silent about it, but I also worked on Capitol Hill in DC for a little while and grew up in the NOVA suburbs with a father who was a public policy wonk, so I have my opinions. I just try to keep them close to the vest so we can all have a good time here.
That said, I certainly have my preferences, which should be pretty obvious for anyone who has has read any of my books, but one thing I can say that nobody else is talking about is that playing grievance politics is no way to run business, a community, or a country.
